Summary of Cooperation with Azerbaijan Anti-Doping Agency

In January 2017 Polish Commission Against Doping in Sport, after a short break, resumed cooperation with the Azerbaijan Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA). From that moment, 7 working meetings took place during which we shared our knowledge in the fields of anti-doping research, results management, implementation of disciplinary proceedings, ADAMS system support and therapeutic use exemptions. Thanks to the determination of the Azerbaijan side and the immediate introduction of the recommendations of the World Anti-Doping Agency, AMADA was recognized as meeting the standards of the World Anti-Doping Program in February this year. The planned cooperation according to current assumptions will be continued until mid-2018, when AMADA will achieve full operational capacity.
